Meet the team
The Maître Sommelier
Guy Brémond
Native to Provence, Guy was very young when he knew that he would dedicate his life to his passion for the art of wine tasting.
He joined the prestigious Wine Sommeliers School in Tain l’Hermitage. Very early, his exceptional qualities allowed him to get prestigious jobs in most major hotels in the world (including Geneva, Gstaad and Hong Kong).
Several years later, Guy moved to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, to which he’s very attached, and where he decided to value the most great growths of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, by opening The Caves St. Charles.
The Chef
David Rocamora
Chef is renowned for his talent and love of Provençal flavors. After making his debut at the prestigious Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland, he pursued his career in France, notably at the Hôtel d'Europe in Avignon, where he refined his art of blending tradition and modernity.
He continued enriching his experience at renowned establishments such as Le Grangousier, Le Hiely and La Ferme, all in Avignon. It was in these restaurants that he perfected his mastery of Provençal cuisine and earned a reputation for his creative, flavoursome dishes.
In 2014, David Rocamora realised his dream of opening his own restaurant, La Mère Germaine, in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Located in the heart of one of France's greatest vineyards, this establishment has become a benchmark for lovers of fine food and wine. Rocamora offers authentic cuisine, highlighting local produce while sublimating it with modern techniques.
